WHAT IS THE CULTURAL CENTER PLANNING INITIATIVE?

In 2018, The Detroit Institute of Arts and Midtown Detroit Inc. worked together to produce DIA Plaza | Midtown Cultural Connections, an international design competition to reimagine Detroit’s cultural district. Agence Ter-Akoaki, LLC with rootoftwo and Harley Etienne, the winner of the competition, is now embarking on an 18 month planning initiative.
